Derby Cup 2009
The 6th Derby Cup tournament will be taking place at the usual venue of the Derby Soccer Dome on Saturday 30th May 2009 with a proposed 13:00 kick-off.

Belgium Football Tournament
On the 11th and 12th April 2009, KSKD Brugge is going to be arranging an International Indoor Deaf 5-a-side football tournmanet in Zedelgem (10km far of Brugge) for men and veterans. On the Sunday evening of the 12th April there is going to be a grand party in DOC Effeta in Sint-Kruis/Brugge.
Crazy Gang Football Club will be participating in this tournament and we will be entering three teams (First Team, Reserve Team and Veteran Team) into the tournament.
Puma Mann will be picking players to participate in the tournament and fans are welcome to come and support Crazy Gang.
Sean Richards and Jason Keetley will be organising transport and hotel.

CRAZY GANG RESERVES MATCH REPORT: Crazy Gang Reserves were victorious against Love Joy Legends, as they won 4-1. Love Joy Legends drew first blood in the match and were 0-1 ahead due to a lack of defense from Crazy Gang Reserves as all the players seemed to be upfront with nobody back. So it was a poor start to the game and it continued for about five minutes. But soon after that, the Reserve Team played lively football and made some good passes and defended well. The scoreline should have been much greater in Crazy Gang Reserves' favour as they had many chances. Russell Pilgrim scored two goals in the match, Martyn Vessey scored one goal and Tony Cubitt scored a brilliant goal from the left side of the pitch near the corner area as he fired the ball at goal from a difficult angle which the Love Joy Legend goalkeeper couldn't save.

CRAZY GANG MATCH REPORT: Crazy Gang slumped to another defeat as they were outplayed by Ace Venturas in a 1-6 defeat. Crazy Gang improved their performance from previous matches such as last week. The passing was much better between players but Ace Venturas were too good for Crazy Gang. Joseph Neale scored the only goal for Crazy Gang.

CRAZY GANG YOUTH MATCH REPORT: Crazy Gang Youth had a 6-3 victory over Big Kahunas. Crazy Gang Youth were hit hard early in the match as Big Kahunas were 0-3 up. But the Youth Team fought back and didn't give up. Daniel Holdsworth dragged the Youth Team back into the match with two goals and Sean Richards got one goal to have the scores level before half time. In the second half, Crazy Gang Youth carried on attacking and pressuring the opposition and it worked with three more goals from Daniel Holdsworth to end the match. It was brilliant performance by Crazy Gang Youth, player manager Jaz Mann would be pleased with the fighting spirits shown by the players and the strong determination shown by the team espically with Daniel Holdsworth's great finishing.

Derby Deaf FC will be playing Liantwit Major Deaf FC in a home match as both teams participate in the British Deaf Football Cup (BDFC). The match will take place before 30th November 2008.

DERBY DEAF FC MATCH REPORT: Derby Deaf FC slumped to a embarassing 1-9 defeat against Stretton FC. Derby Deaf FC played poor football in the match, there are no excuses for their performance. None of the players showed any passion to play in the Derby Deaf jersey. Passion is needed from the players to get the club to work as a team and win matches. The players also need to work very hard in training if they are to improve their personal and team performance. Manager; Richard Jeffers is not happy with the team after they have lost three games in a row and will be demanding immediate improvement. Gary Gordon scored the only consolation goal for Derby Deaf FC after 43 minutes of play from kick-off.
ON SATURDAY 6TH SEPTEMBER 2008, DERBY DEAF FC WILL PLAY ALLENTON SPORTS IN AN AWAY MATCH.

Puma Mann had now chosen the list of people that will play for Crazy Gang in the Brugge tournament whether they are past or present players and names of people that wish to go to the tournament as fans to support Crazy Gang Football Club. If any players (current or ex) wish to participate in the Belgium Tournament then please see Puma Mann for information and make sure you have a £20 deposit which will cover costs for transport, playing in the tournament and hotel. There is a deadline of October 1st for players to come and see Puma Mann to participate after the date no one can sign up. People that wish to go to Belgium but do not want to play football can also see Puma Mann with £20 and will visit Belgium as fans for Crazy Gang.
